Humminbird SmartCast RF45 Advance Remote Sonar Sensor Very pleased.

Great for the boatless!!, (What's this?) Great for the shore fisherman!! Affordable to. Those that don't own a boat or just prefer shore fishing. Put her on a spare rod with some good line and hunt while you fish. It has an extra hole where you can rig it like a bobber if yer willing to risk it (against bigger fish), don't think I goin to risk that though.
Humminbird RSS, (What's this?) This is a great tool to add to your tackle-box, especially for a new lake. I don't use the Piranha system. I use my Matrix 37 from my boat. I bought the RSS receiver an additional power-cord, and a mount for the unit. I then purchased a plastic rolling tool box, put the 12 volt battery in the bottom of the tool box, ran the powercord up through the tool box up to the mount.
good product, (What's this?) Hard to figure out, even harder to set the little sonar device. But once it's figured out, it's ok. Not spectacular, but a good toy to have when you just want to screw around with something.
It works, (What's this?) I waited awhile to write this so that I would know where it worked and where it did not. Simply it works, just has no distance for the radio transmitter, you could never use it at the end of a fishing line like it says more than 10 feet away from the receiver and it loses its connection, so I am using it on my little pontoon boat and it works well for that and its compact enough to still have room to carry your tackle box.
Caught 28" walleye first day with the Humminbird SmartCast, (What's this?) Great for canoe use. Good depth and temperature indicator. Tells you that fish are in the area but not their depth or size.
best ting ever!, soooooooo good works good in spy pond and sea!!!now all i need is a small screen that tells where your humming bird and the fish are...
disappointed, (What's this?) bought this for my son's Master's Graduation the end of August--he tried it on the lake in back of his house. it only worked within 10' of the shore and boat.
Very pleased., (What's this?) It was a birthday gift to my friend. He loves it. He likes everything, the receiver with a display attaches to a pole is very sturdy. And the main thing IT SHOWS FISH. Even if you can't catch it at least you know you at the right spot and can try different things to fool fish.
Great product for those without a boat, (What's this?) I bought the version that has the seperate monitor, since I wanted the ability to see how far down the fish are as well.

Since I've had this product I have used it everywhere I could go. It definitely works great at showing depths. The layout on the screen matches what I encounter when I drag a bottom rig. I used this at the Bay, the Reservoir, and a pond... and each time, I set my rigs for the depth the monitor recommended, and BAM. Caught fish. ALOT MORE than normal. In the past week I picked up a 19" Striper and an 11" Yellow Perch in the Bay, and a 27" Catfish in the Reservoir.
It also alerted me to the fact that another local pond had no real fish in it. A fact confirmed by other frustrated fishermen that were packing it up. Saved me a great headache, and turned my day from boring to productive.

2 downsides...
#1 - If you pull this too fast, you do lose signal, so give yourself time to get used to the speed.
#2 - it gets confused with waves. Whenever a speedboat roared by in the Bay, the scanner thought the water went from 12' deep to 23' deep. It corrects itself quickly tho.
More than expected, (What's this?) I was concerned about this product based on some of the reviews however, after the using the RF15 it has been great. I have been using it in a small pond I fish when there is not time to go to the big lake. The depth and contour is nothing like what I thought. It even reads well in 3 to 4 foot of water. The device has helped me catch more fish. I believe most of the negative reviews are from user error. The transducer turns on and off by being wet. This makes me think that a lot of the battery issues have been from incorrect storage of the product. The only reason I can not give it a 5 is the battery design. I wish there was a way to replace battery without buying the complete transducer although $25 is not that bad.

GSI Super Quality All-In-One Hunting Handheld Monitor - Measures Sun, Moon, Tide, Altitude, Barometer, Temperature And Humidity We returned it.

Useful, This product is priced fairly for the many functions it contains. I wish it had a built in compass to aid on camping trips, but other than that, I'v been happy with it. Not completely accurate when it comes to the weather forecast, but when is weather completely predictable, NEVER! It has been useful in planning the days events, and think it's a good product.
practical use, This is a nifty idea. Viewed it online and thought i would give it a go. It is a cool device, nice for camping/hikes.It has a pretty nice feel to it, like it should last a while. think it is a good product.
Cool Tool, I purchased this little gadget for the temperature and barometer features it had. Those both work good. Found that it's been a cool gadget to keep in my tackle box, and the other functions like the alarm, and stopwatch are also useful so I don't sit in one place to long. A handy tool to have.
Don't Waste Your Money, (What's this?) I bought this unit thinking it would be perfect for my adventures. I was terribly wrong. It was complicated to program and worked sporadically after that. I am disappointed that I wasted the money to purchase this.
imaginative, I was optimistic and purchased the product thinking it would be a realistic way to track weather and climate changes at different altitudes rock climbing.
The device is capable of predicting weather change and dedicated to serving the user.
I can fly through the programs and expect nothing but great results. I feel safe and secure having this by my side, it's a great solution for my need.
We returned it., (What's this?) I wanted this mainly for the altitude feature, with the compass feature second. Couldn't get a good reading with either feature. Sent it back in frustration. As usual, Amazon refunded the cost.
monitor, i like this monitor is easily programmed and holds settings while on the move.
Its a great tool to teach the relationship of the position of the sun and moon in reference to the time of day or night.
I take the monitor on camping trips with my nephews and found it to be very instructional. I can show them how altitude changes temperature and when to seek shelter from a cloud burst!
The monitor is very practical and helpful tool.
neat product, Neat product, all functions and features work as described. Easy to use, after using a little while, it has so many functions for a small device. loud alarm, nice to have when camping. Nice product, great price. I recommend it.
with better instructions I would have loved it, I thought this would be pretty fun to have camping and hiking. Things I like are:
The size, alarm, the weather readings, price, and how light it is.

Things I didn't like are: The instructions. In total, i'm not disappointed with this for casual hiking/camping weekend use.
GET MORE BUCKS, I a bow hunter, primarily deer, and am always trying to stay ahead of the game. I thought this gadget might help do that. The thermometer and barometric weather forecast features work well in the field. And I like that I tell what the humidity levels are, helps track movement patterns. A neat little gadget for 40 bucks.

Humminbird MHX XMK Kayak Transducer Mounting Kit Makes it very simple

Great Product Costly for UK, (What's this?) This a great accessory for fitting the transducer of humminbird fish finder inside kayak hulls. Whilst my sit on top has a customised scupper hole to accomodate transducer there are varying issues around using this, The MHX XMK is the best commercial alternative that I could find and does the job really well. I cannot fault the product in terms of quality and its fitness for purpose.

The cost to obtain in UK is extortionate as there are no UK supply points that I could find, so carriage from US was necessary evil.
Almost just like it grew there, (What's this?) Bought this for use on a 2nd hand cobra fish n dive and very pleased. Whole process was easy and effective and it worked, which was even better. Do note that although the YouTube bid shows this as a continuous process the instructions say before popping the transducer in you need to let the adhesive cure for 24 hours. The video is a bit misleading in this regard. But if like me you checked the web for the best waynto mount a ff on a f"n"d cobra this was as I said easy and effective.
Easy and works on my Ocean Kayak, (What's this?) I was able to follow the directions and found a video on YouTube to just explain it a little better. I have an Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL and this fit just forward of the rear hatch in a flat spot in the middle of the hull. Super easy to do. I like the grease better than some other methods that use epoxy. Epoxy tends to have air bubbles and I'm thinking that the grease will allow them to escape better, thus making a better bond. I did use a Humminbird 160 transducer and it fit snugly so I don't have to worry about it moving around.
Makes it very simple, (What's this?) Saves time and makes the install so eay. Mine works perfect! BE SURE you follow instructions and allow the proper time for the holder to set.
It is OK, (What's this?) It came with a detailed and easy instruction. Installation was quite easy too. I Followed the instruction and found the grease leaking although I followed the manual and settled the stick tape overnight. It is cold weather so the grease is not spreading yet but not sure if it will hold during the hot summer time. Have not tried the kayak out yet so I can not tell of the readig accuracy yet.
not what I expected, (What's this?) I expected this to be good for mounting my transducer in my kayak. Great if you never turn your kayak upside down as the grease will leak out. I tried using the cup to hold marine goop - but the transducer kept crawling up the sides.
    complete waste of money.
Worth the money!, (What's this?) I Purchased this product for my Tarpon 120 after considering many of the cheaper install options. For about $10 dollars more than most do-it-yourself options I bought this kit. It installed fast with a clean, sturdy professional look that does not damage the kayak and can be easily removed in the future if desired. It also improves the signal of my Piranha Max 190C fish finder. For peace of mind and the easy no worry installation, I think its worth the investment.
Great for Kayak use!, (What's this?) Bought for Kayak fishing! Heard so much horror stories of people using cheap transducer mounting methods, sounded like more frustration then anything else. Used this kit with P'max 170 and have no problems at all.

Humminbird BFT 1 Fishin' Buddy Float Tube Strap great for the float tube

    good product, (What's this?)
Good product, (What's this?) I use this with my Fishin Buddy Fish Finder on my float tube and it works great. I really have no complaints about this.

Holds the fish finder great, doesn't come loose, very sturdy, made to last, very light, doesn't get in the way.

Also works good as a rod-holder.
great for the float tube, (What's this?) The strap keeps this in place and is lightweight. Easy to put on and remove, but I leave mine on, as it is by no means in the way. The design is simple but effective, and glad I got it.
Does the job, (What's this?) The Humminbird Fishin' Buddy (FB) float tube strap works ok. The strap needs to be longer. I have it fully extended and it barely wraps around the narrowest circumference of my V-pontoon float tube. Also, the FB holder part of the strap tends to shift off vertical axis due to water drag on the FB transducer shaft, but that's more of an annoyance than a problem - the FB still works fine. I would still recommend it.
great accessory, Works great on my float tube.
Humminbird BFT 1 Fishin' Buddy Float Tube Strap, (What's this?) Couldn't use it on the float tube without it. I also managed to use it on my kayak with this strap thru a scupper hole.

Humminbird 710226-1 XNT 9 DI T Transom Mount Transducer Saved a lot

    Transducer, (What's this?)
Saved a lot, (What's this?) Husband went to Humminbird's website and the exact same transducer was $100 more. I searched Amazon and found the exact same transducer for much less. Shipment was prompt, transducer was easy to install and works great. I would recommend buying the trolling motor mount Humminbird 7400871 AD XTM 9 Trolling Motor Adapter) designed for this transducer because we lost the first one because he had just tie strapped it down to the trolling motor.

Factory part., (What's this?) This transducer is specifically for the 587 DI Humminbird Depth-finder. Amazon had it in stock when none else had it and the price was a good deal as well.

Standard Horizon GX1150B Standard Eclipse DSC+ VHF Radio - Black This Radio Rocks

This Radio Rocks, It's a bit overkill for our 17' bowrider, but I wanted a good radio that would just work. I have this wired to our CP180 chart plotter and all the GPS integration works great!

I hope I never have to use it to send a mayday, but I am confident that it will work exactly as planned if I do. The audio is clear and the speaker is nice and loud!

My biggest complaint is that the in-dash mounting kit is sold separately and it only comes with the bracket mount. We boat in some areas where I don't trust people and wanted to mount this in the dash to make it a little harder to steal.
Good solid VHF, (What's this?) My old SH VHF died after several years of great service.
I wanted to replace it with a good solid unit, without too many bells and whistles.
This VHF fits the bill exactly. It is small, compact and attractive. It has external speaker jack (which I need for my boat), and channel controls on the Mic.
Have done several radio checks and all confirm that I am coming in 5x5 (strong and crystal clear).
Great product, very affordable, would definitely recommend it.

  • Scan and Dual Watch functions
  • Microphone with channel change, H/L, and 16/9 buttons
  • Class D Digital Select Calling
  • Pushbuttons for channel changing
  • Large Alphanumeric display

The Eclipse DSC+ is an affordable ITU Class D VHF radio, ultra compact, and designed with a sturdy die-cast chassis, making this full-functioning 25 Watt radio the perfect choice for serious power and sail boaters alike. The ECLIPSE DSC+ features a microphone with channel UP/DOWN, 16/9 and H/L keys. The microphone also features Clear Voice Noise Reduction Technology, eliminating unwanted background noises, like engines and wind, during transmission, ensuring clear communications. The advanced design of the Eclipse DSC+ allows DSC calls to be received even when listening to other communications, as it has a separate DSC receiver.

Garmin GPSMAP 78 2.6-Inch Marine GPS Navigator and Worldwide Chartplotter Marine Garmin

    Simple, accurate, (What's this?)
OMG This thing is awesome!, (What's this?) I've owned several handheld GPS over the years. This thing finds satellite's and locks in about 10 seconds......in my house. My other handheld which was also a garmin would only find satellites outside only on a clear day when no trees were within sight. OK I'm exagerating. There could be one or two trees near but not too near. This 78sc sreen is awesome also. You can see it from any angle, in the sun, with sunglasses on. I LOVE THIS THING. It's simple to use. I'd buy it again. If anyone gives negative feedback on this thing they are in need of help. Serious help.
Marine Garmin, (What's this?) It's a Garmin, It's great. Brand new. Came in box. Arrived quickly. Love that it floats if for some reason you drop it in the water. Very sturdy.
This was a needed upgrade., (What's this?) This unit replaced my Magellan GPS 3000 which had replace an older Loran C unit. The older unit was not a Chartplotter and had great difficulty in acquiring satellites when on shore. The 78SC acquires satellites within seconds of turning it on as long as you are outdoors. Although it did a pretty good job acquiring them even indoors most of the time.

It is nice to have a Chart to give you a visual of the area you are in. I always was concerned that the older unit I had would guide me right into a breakwall in poor visual conditions, if I didn't have an old route map to rely on. The built in map is sufficient for my purposes as I only need to rely on it for fishing purposes on Lake Erie which is part of the coastal maps included. I seldom if ever need to rely on it for poor visual conditions and I am only guiding a 16' aluminum boat fishing fairly familiar areas. The general need is to be able to find structure for fishing and being able to mark spots where I have had previous success. It is good to be able to see where sandbars and old wrecks are located in an open lake.

All its features function accurately and it wasn't too difficult to learn and use. After one trip out with it I am ready to trust it completely.
Love it for Sailing!, I got my Garmin 78sc a couple of weeks ago, to use not only on the water (Chesapeake Bay), but for hiking and geocaching. By now I've sailed for 3 days,(about 15 hours total run-time), and the alkaline batteries are about half gone according to the meter, so I'm fairly satisfied with the battery life. I haven't tried NiMH rechargeables yet.

I was concerned the unit was going to be huge (it's intentionally large to give internal air space for water flotation ability), but it's not too big or heavy. It was smaller than I was expecting it to be.
Save your money, (What's this?) Disply is pixeled, not as clear as my four year old gpsmap 76csx.
Disply isn't half as bright as my 76.
When battery level is at half strength, unit will turn off back light and other features which makes unit very difficult to read.
Battery campartment is a pain in the ass to get into and now you must change batteries twice as often as with the 76 because of the low battery feature.

Garmin dropped the ball on this unit.
The future is now, (What's this?) I've had some experience with the older GPS 76 and found it very hard to see in bright sunlight out on the water.

So, I was a bit nervous in ordering the GPS 78sc without being able to kick the tires. It arrived yesterday and I've spent about 6 hours total getting used to it. There were several concerns that I, at first, felt like I had bought a pig in a poke -- BUT, after a couple of phone calls talking to the Garmin technical people, all my issues were resolved.

This device is simply incredible with its accuracy and features for such a small package. I rely heavily on the MOB (man overboard) screen for use in setting upwind marks at specific bearings and distances from the committee boat in Race Committee work for Offshore classes. The color screen is very easily seen in the brightest conditions. The track log and reciprocal bearing back to the committee boat are highlighted in different colors and make for a superb display.

One of the reasons the color screen is so good (and they don't mention it anywhere) is that the lense window is polaroid. I stumbled onto that by accident today on a hike while wearing my polaroid sunglasses. I noticed that when turning the device at a right angle the image suddenly disappeared. That only happens when you are viewing a polaroid lense from another polaroid lense.

Now that I am familiar with the 78sc, my ONLY complaint is that the on-line Operation Manual is woefully inadequate for anything other than a basic introduction. However, all of your technical questions (and I am sure you will have some0 will be answered by their Customer Service department. Unlike many other companies, you won't have to wait more than a minute or so before getting through to a tech specialist. Pretty impressive.

Let me give you an example of how the Operation Manual suffers. Nothing in the on-line literature advertising the 78sc explains the setup capabilities of the compass feature. It is factory set to show a compass rose instead of degrees.
Garmin GPSMAP 78S, (What's this?) If you are reading this, then you are doing what I did, trying to decide it this is the GPS for you, right? I will tell you up front, this one of the biggest pieces of junk I have ever owned in my life. It is crap... This is my fifth Garmin and it is the worst, by far.
So, why did I buy it and why do I still have it?
My first Garmin was a GPS 40, then I moved up to the GPS 12, then I moved up to the Vista HCx. The first two were pretty impressive and still work, but became out of date as things improved in the GPS world. The Vista worked fine, until I started taking it canoeing.
Map colors NOT customizable, (What's this?) I have happily owned a GPSMAP 76CS and was looking forward to owning the 78S "upgrade". I am returning it and writing this review for one reason. The map colors are not customizable. I called Garmin support who confirmed this. The daytime map color scheme is light gray back roads, on a dusky green background (using City Navigator maps, don't know if that makes a difference).

I am a long distance cyclist and need to be able to actually SEE the back roads on the map screen. The gray on green is unreadable under optimal light and is impossible in sunlight.

The 76cs, and the 76csx, have an option "daytime color scheme" to adjust the map background colors. Someone at Garmin decided to drop this option and in my opinion this is a fatal flaw.
A good step forward but Garmin is not a customer support giant by any means., (What's this?) I've had the Garmin GPSMAP 78sc now for over a year and have found it to be a big step forward in technology in terms of acquiring satellites. It quickly acquires satellites under heavy timber and up against steep mountain faces which my old GPS76 never acquired. Technology rating - 5 stars. However, I find Garmin to be extremely frustrating when it comes to customer support/intuitive use of the unit. Garmin forces users to use Garmin's Base Camp software to interface with the PC and they make it very hard to export the data to other, very common, GPS data platforms, i.e. Google Earth, ArcGis, etc etc. Same holds true for importing, what should be easily shared, items such as icons/symbols.

Bazooka BT1224DVC BT Series 12-Inch 4-Ohm Dual Passive Tube

BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, (What's this?) This sub is def an awesome sub woofer it has great sound with deep resonating tone and if installed right no vibration. I have a 1400 watt Pyle amplifier hooked up to it and sounds awesome.
Bazooka 12in dual passive, (What's this?) this thing iz nasty! I originally purchased this Bazooka tube to add some good bass and got way more than I expected. My amp is a Mtx Jackhammer Series Jh600, defo recomendo.
    Awesome buy!, (What's this?)
In regards to the BASS TUBES, I use to have one of these 10inch self-powered tubes in my car. My buddy have 3, 10inch in his truck. My bass tube end up putting out more bass then the 3 he had in his truck with the same setup. That just shows you just one of these tubes can sounds like 2 or more speakers. I just bought 2 of these 12inch dual passives' that I'm going to run at 600 watts each, I'm looking forward to hear what these things can do in comparison to a box setup in my car.
its a great buy must buy if you allready have a amp, (What's this?) its a great buy buy it if your smaller speakers died i had a 8" bazooka, and after two years it blew but i used it heavyly so yea anyway if your looking for a new speaker and u have a amp aready must buy it sounds great even though its a 12" it fit descent in the trunk of my Honda prelude.
good but no amp, (What's this?)
Excellent bass enhancer for factory systems!, (What's this?) I was looking for a subwoofer system to enhance my already decent factory system. I didn't want to go through the trouble of completely changing my entire sound system just to enhance my bass response. I had researched several bass systems from different companies. Since I have family I. Didn't want to secrafice my trunk space as well. The BT1224DVC gives me exactly what I need; great bass & trunk space! I listen to a lot of reggae & old school soul music & it performs wonderfully for me! If you're looking to enhance your factory sytem, buy this model! If you're looking for people to hear you 2 blocks away, buy 2 subs! By the way, you need an external amp for this model.

Kenwood KMR-330 Marine CD Receiver with Satellite Ready Front AUX Input

Great deck, (What's this?) I bought this deck for my Triton TR-20 and cannot be happier. It powers a pair of Infinity 6X9's under the cockpit dashes. It replaced a JVC that only lasted 2yrs but to stick up for JVC a little it was an automotive deck that I bought on clearence! Any hoe, the power this deck has is sufficient and the sound quality is top notch just as expected from a Kenwood. The controls are a little funky but you get use to them really quick.
3 bad radios in 90 days, (What's this?) This radio was complete junk. One was bad out of the box. The other two lasted about thirty days. Hooked on tronics may have the worst customer support I have ever dealt with and will not buy anything from them again.
excellent, (What's this?) I put this unit in my sailboat with a pair of Polk atrium speakers. It sounds great! I use my xm radio through it. However I could not figure how to hook up the xm radio so I have it hooked up to Auxilary.
kenwood marine stereo, (What's this?) Nice unit. Easy install. Also purchased wired remote unit. My bass boat and I love it. Sounds great.
Marine radio, (What's this?) Radio easy to install and has enough power to operate 4 speakers. Works with IPOD interface good but hard to scan songs. Goes by artist not random easy.
Great Device, (What's this?) Bought as a replacement unit, perfect fit and the wiring was a unplug/plug in change out. works perfectly and has great sound, is a bit tricky to set up and change settings. Am very pleased.

  • Plays CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RW discs, including discs loaded with MP3, WMA, and AAC music files
  • CD player with built-in MOSFET amplifier (22 watts RMS/50 peak x 4 channels)
  • Compatible with Kenwood's iPod adapter, Bluetooth adapter, HD Radio tuner, satellite radio
  • Inputs: front-panel auxiliary input, optional rear aux in

PYLE PLMR24 3.5-Inch 200 Watt 3-Way Weather Proof Mini Box Speaker System (White) (Pair)

Additional feedback, (What's this?) As I said in my original review, I just wanted some simple speakers and an amplifier for my patio next summer. Some tunes while I man my grille! I did a test of my new system while the weather was nice, and I am SO happy with the sound.
Good For The Money, Just needed something on the boat to add some highs to 6.5 speakers already mounted on the sides of center console. These work great for that. Mounted these facing the pilot and got what I wanted, can hear the stereo under way now. They're cheap and do the job, would have been nice if hardware was stainless, but what do ya want at these prices. I would recommend them.
Outdoor speakers, (What's this?) Purchased these to put on our patio wall, sound it good and we can angle them so as not blast straight out to the neighbors yet we hear them while in the pool.
Pyle Speakers & stereo wire, (What's this?) Both Speakers and stereo wires arrived separately and on time. I've installed the speakers. Good value. They work great. Thanks.
small speakers with a nice sound and great price, (What's this?) I replaced two larger spearkers with these smaller speakers on the boat. They are easy to install, nice looking, nice sounding and the price was right.
Sound is great, (What's this?) Sound quality is great. After attaching this to my existing receiver and hearing the audio, it did not disappoint me. For the price and sound quality, I'll give this a 5 star.
Best little speakers for the money, bar none!, Due to some remodeling, I needed to replace some of my Advent outdoor speakers - they are great speakers, I've had them for years, but mine are black and I now needed white). I came across these Pyle speakers and for the money, way less than the Advents, I had to give them a try.
    Price was great!, (What's this?)
    speakers, (What's this?)
Rusting!, (What's this?) The speakers sound decent. I run them on my fishing boat and am not overly concerned with audio quality as long as I have a little bit of tunes to keep myself entertained. Like others have mentioned, the adjustment screw on the sides are useless. The main problem I have with these speakers is after only 3 trips in the water the grills have begun to rust. Would not recommend for use on a boat.

Humminbird PiranhaMAX 150 4-Inch Waterproof Fishfinder

Chinese made junk "Lemon", Bought at Wallmart for over $200.00 Worked great for 1 year 3 months,I think i used it 6 times. then one day it would not work. Thats right 3 months after the warranty ran out this product failed.I sent it in to get it fixed and they will charge you a set fee of 80.00 some dollers to fix whatever is wrong with your unit. I would not recommend Humminbird products to anyone.
Humminbird Piranh max 170 fish finder, (What's this?) I had the good fortune to find this fish finder on Amazon as well as being rated by consumer reports as a good product. So I ordered it and recived it in short time. enstalled it easyly on my used boat. we used it while fishing at our favorite fishing spot Cove resort with great success no triploids but nice rainbow.
So thank you Amazon for having a great product and Great staff to process and ship the order.
piranha max 170, (What's this?) this is a great little product ,easy to use very accurate on depth through my kayak hull, its wintertime so not alot of fish in the river right now, but it did put me on a couple of them
Humminbird Piranha MAX 170, (What's this?) A good product at a reasonable price. This is my second one as I fitted my first to a sea kayak. I did only need to purchase a transducer but found the complete new package was only a few pounds dearer when purchasing through Amazon from the USA as opposed to using a UK dealer.
Excellent and Reasonably-Priced Product, (What's this?) I use this fishfinder in the tropics exclusively, for saltwater fishing. It works great even with 50cm waves and up to 7-8kts trolling. Direct sunlight readability is good, and the battery lasted more than 48hrs on my last fishing trip. The only downside is that the US version doesn't have the ability to switch to metric units. Totally satisfied with this product.
Humminbird piranhamax 160, (What's this?) I bought the fish finder from Amazon for a great price considering I live in New Zealand $141.00 NZD including postage as a posed to $299.00 NZD from a local boat shop. It was purchased for my kayak, and installation was quite simple, using blue lithium grease to set the transducer on the inside of the hull. Took her out this morning to test it,and it worked faultlessly. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because it only measures in feet and Fahrenheit with no option to change it to metres and degrees, not really a problem as I can get used to it, the other thing is the size of the transducer plug is to big to be able to use any other cable fitting other than the one supplied, which on a kayak isn't ideal, but testing it today no water got in, but then there was no surf, so if I sink I'll let you know lol. All in All A very good buy and well worth the money.
Great product, (What's this?) I'm very happy with this purchase and is doing everything I need it to do. I have set it up on my boat and has helped my located depths that I am trying to fish at.
PirahnaMax 170, (What's this?) To start with it comes as an easy install, although you still need a battery. At first glance it is compact smart and easy to use. The screen is grey scale, has the regular screen adjustments and a backlight. Coming from a country that uses metric it what still a good buy. The fish ID feature works well, as soon as I dropped my line fish were biting and on. Go humminbird.
WHAT PRODUCT ARE U ALL REVIEWING???!!!, (What's this?) The sounder/fish finder I purchased ( 190C ) had no SUCTION CUP...??? It is a simple, SINGLE, beam transducer, color sounder. It is an easy install and the sounder works great. I highly recommend that you buy the in hull transducer mounting kit if you are installing this in a kayak.
Buying this was very difficult, (What's this?) I did my homework and read every review twice, just to try to find out WHAT came with the unit.
I puchased the 160 dual beam unit, and did not get a suction cup mounting.

Humminbird XT 6 20 Transom Mount Transducer

Transducer Reward, (What's this?) I was told the transducer for my pontoons high speed depth finder was no longer available after being damaged by muskrats.
Apparently the repair shop didn't check Amazon to locate one. I did and found exactly what I needed. The transducer arrived just as described, NEW, and in a timely fashion.
I installed the transducer and my original depth finder guage and it's working beautifully and now all my helm guages match as intended instead of a big black guage sticking out against the nicely jeweled ones.

Glad I used Amazon as a resource for hard to find item.
Transducer Works Perfect, (What's this?) Needed to replace broken transducer on my humminbird fish finder. This transducer was the exact replacement and worked perfect. Would suggest to others to use the exact replacement part, not a cheaper look a like.
Lives up to its promise, (What's this?) I read a lot of reviews about the Humminbird 200 DX product. The overall tone of the reviews was negative.

Pioneer TS-SW841D 8 In. Shallow-Mount Subwoofer with 500 Watts Max. Power

Nice speaker, (What's this?) So far I love this speaker...I built a cabinet for it and put it in the passenger floor board of my miata.
Big things in a little package, (What's this?) I went with a completely invisible subwoofer install by putting this in a box under the rear floor of a VW GTI. The box is very shallow. I run two channels of a small Sony amp supplying exactly the 140W or so that the speaker's owner's manual calls for. I had a sound shop run the wiring for all the components I had assembled. They admitted some serious surprise with the end result (although having a hatch back helps in that regard - might not be as impressive in a sedan trunk).
pioneer subwoofer review, this product works great with my new pioneer speakers and avic-d3 navigation system. I'm very pleased.
Pioneer Premier TS-SW841D Sub, I bought this replace a factory sub in my vehicle and even though I don't crank it like I did when I was 16, it has good sound and a nice range of bass tones. Definitely a good pick for anyone looking for a shallow-mount sub.
Runs fine free air too and sounds like a 10", I have only one of these mounted on my rear deck shelf. It's a stealth install and you can't tell it's there till you hear it. It sounds great. I was thinking it might not sound too good without a box but it seems to sound just fine mounted on the underside of my rear deck. My amps crossover is set at 100Hz and I am running 300 watts RMS to it. It sounds great. This is not a sheet metal vibrator type of sub. It provides clear, deep accurate bass at an affordable price. If you want teenage level madness like you hear at some stop lights with the sheet metal vibrating etc.... than get a 12" woofer. This 8" sub packs in plenty of undistorted low frequency tones and the mounting options, well with this low installation depth of 2.5" there are many possibilities out there. Again, I'm only using one of these in my Lincoln and it sounds great. I'm not necessarily advocating free-air installation as the best option but in my particluar set up it was required to keep the install totaly stealth. It does sound great though so in my case it worked out just fine. This 8" sounds more like a 10".

The surround is constructed of three layers--two of urethane and one of interwoven cloth. The interwoven cloth distributes strength throughout the surround material and improving its high power capability. The result is an extremely durable and resilient surround that resists puckering, even under intense power conditions. This creates a "loading effect' or area of pressure underneath the speaker which hampers performance and responsiveness. The rear of the powerful and slim Pioneer shallow subwoofer is designed with specially-shaped fins that channel the airflow sideways instead of downward. Air is continuously pushed in a circular motion, eliminating the "loading effect" or unwanted pressure of air behind the cone. Air Suspension System In order to create a subwoofer that is three and a quarter inches deep, Pioneer had to develop revolutionary subwoofer technology. A traditional subwoofer uses the spider design to keep the voice coil of the speaker aligned while it moves. This type of set-up can become soft over time degrading the subwoofer's performance. Pioneer created a patent-pending air suspension system that locks air between a main cone and a drive cone. The cones move together in unison, with the locked-in air behaving like a spring. The dual-cone structure is a spider-less design that maintains better sound linearity, and reliability even after many of hours of hard use.

Pioneer TS-W2502D4 10 In. Champion Series PRO Subwoofer with 3000 Watts

Compete and beat the best of them, (What's this?) this is an amazing product i bought 1 of them and put it in my truck sounds great preforms great its an extremely well crafted product.tougher than a brick. this sub really moves alot with nice tight bass. i would strongly recommend a break in period with this sub because when i got this product you could barely move it when you push on it. it also sounds better after a break in. my friend also bought 2 12" models of this pioneer sub and wow rockford should watch out, even kicker should be worried. everything on his 96 4 runner rattles and vibrates like crazy but most of it you cant hear because the subs drown out the sound. and they are even a little bit under powered. believe it or not it also has great sound quality.
Definitely worth the money!!!, (What's this?) I was a little skeptical about this sub being that it was a pioneer and not a super high dollar item. I was pleasantly surprised, the quality and craftsmanship are excellent and it performs like a much larger sub. I'm throwing 1000W mono at it on a daily basis and it asks for more. If your looking for a quality sub at a cheap price look no further.
