Got it back and it had some kind of new rattle. Now the thing will not accept a cd. It also sounds like crap.
After being on hold for 45 minutes we 3-way called the sales dpmt at PYLE which promptly picked up. We were very cordial and the girl was receptive and seemed concerned. After a minute she hung up.
The radio seemed to be a good price but wasn't worth the headache and turned out to cost me twice what the price was on Amazon. And still didn't work!
When I try to find some kind of number for the company that actually sells the product on Amazon it's impossible. I would give the radio zero stars of Amazon let me.
Take my advice and buy locally and not this POS.
Love it when i pick the right present, I got this for my husband for his B-day. I knew he wanted to get a quality system on his boat but was too cheap with himself to do it! So i got it and he was so excited from the moment he opened the box-men can be big kids! Anyhoo-he hooked it up and had a grin from ear to ear-sounds nice and we can have music while we cruise! Looks really nice too.
CD Player does not work., (What's this?) Everything came in great packaging. We installed all four speakers but when trying to install the player it would not work. We troubleshot everything possible, then went to another store to pick up another cd player. The new one works just fine. So basically we payed for four expensive speakers.
Sounds and spray, Put this baby on my fishing boat to while away the hours and I dig it- good sound quality- nice to know it won't get messed up if it gets a little spray- for the money I think it's all it needs to be. It has a plenty of features. Didn't have to crack open the user guide either.
DOA, (What's this?) Product arrived DOA, kind of a bummer after you build a box for it and mounting faces for the speakers, now I'm out shipping. Changing brands to Sony.
Not much of a Marine Product, (What's this?) "Marine" and "Water Proof" need to be left off of the description.
Unit worked OK first time out, although it didn't seem to have the volume it should have had for a 4X50 Watt system. Second time out, a very brief rain shower hit and my marine water proof system quit. What little water hit this unit was blown in because the top was up on my pontoon boat. I emailed PYLE about the problem on my one month old system and they have yet to reply.
This thing is crap, Hooked everything up and it worked great for about a week. Then it would not hold the input jack in, next we got no sound from the system at all. Now it randomly turns on so I will be outside taking the trash out and hear music coming from the boat. Have sent 2 e-mails to the manufacturer and received no response. Buy something else this unit is junk.
